Terms of Service

1. What WrapGTO is

WrapGTO (“we”, “us”) is a website with two parts:

• Study tools — the Trainer and Study: you practise against, and review your play with, a neural network trained through self-play;
• Home games — private clubs and tables where you play double-board bomb pots with people you invite.

By creating an account or using wrapgto.com you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.

The model's recommendations and grades are approximations of strong play — not a computed game-theory-optimal solution, and not advice. We make no promise that following them will win you money, at poker or anywhere else.

2. Study only — no real-time use

The Trainer and Study are for study away from the table. You agree not to use them, or anything derived from them, while playing real-money games, as real-time assistance of any kind, or in any way that breaks the rules of a poker site or venue you play at. You're responsible for following those rules. We may suspend or close accounts we reasonably believe are used this way.

Home-game hands are graded only after they finish; no recommendations are shown to anyone while a hand is being played.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google, or with a one-time sign-in link sent to your email where that is offered. We never see or store a password. You're responsible for what happens under your account; accounts are personal — don't share, sell or transfer them.

You can download your data, sign out your other devices, or delete your account at any time from the account menu (see section 10).

4. Price

WrapGTO is currently free. While the models are in development every part of the site — unlimited trainer hands, Study and home games — is available at no cost, and you won't be asked for payment details.

If paid plans are introduced, we'll tell you in advance, in the app and by email, and nothing you did before will be charged. Paid plans would be billed monthly in advance through Stripe (we would never see your card details), could be cancelled at any time with access running to the end of the paid period, and the price shown when you subscribe would stay your price for as long as your subscription stays continuously active. Fees would be non-refundable except where the law says otherwise — but if something genuinely went wrong, write to us.

5. Home games

A ledger, not a cashier. Chips at a home-game table stand for amounts the players agree on among themselves. WrapGTO records buy-ins, top-ups and cash-outs and shows who owes whom, but no money is paid to, held by, or sent through WrapGTO, and we take no rake or fee. Settling up happens entirely between players, outside the site. WrapGTO is not a party to those arrangements and does not guarantee that anyone pays. Playing for money may be restricted where you live: it's your responsibility to follow your local law.

Clubs and tables. A club's owner and admins decide who joins and may remove members; a table's host sets its rules (stakes, clock, who may sit, whether grades are shown) and may remove players from it.

What other players see. The people at your tables, and the members of your clubs, see your display name and picture, your chat, and your actions at the table. Inside a club they can also see your results, the ledger, your stats and your hand histories. Your hole cards are shown to others only when the table's rules reveal them (for example at showdown, or when you choose to show), and grades follow the table's setting.

The shuffle. Each deal is shuffled by our server and then cut using a random number from every participating player's device. After a hand, anyone who took part can check that the deal was not changed after their device contributed. The server still deals the cards, so it cannot prove that nobody at WrapGTO could see them; if that matters to you, don't play.

Fair play. No collusion, no bots or scripts, no chip dumping, no using the study tools during a home-game hand, and no abuse of other players. Hosts, club owners and we may remove anyone who breaks these rules.

6. What you post

Your display name, profile picture, club and table names, and chat messages stay yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to the people they are meant for (your tables and clubs) for as long as they are kept. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that you don't have the right to share. We may remove content or accounts that break this.

7. Fair use

Don't scrape, bulk-query or programmatically harvest the model's outputs; don't probe, copy, extract or try to reconstruct the models or their weights; don't resell or proxy access; and don't interfere with the service or other users. We may rate-limit, suspend or close accounts that do.

8. Intellectual property

The site, the trained models and the content we provide are ours. Your account gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own study and games. Hands you play and spots you build are yours to discuss and share as you like.

9. The service is provided “as is”

WrapGTO is a small, largely one-person project. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we provide it as is, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free recommendations, that a home-game hand will never be interrupted, or that any feature will exist forever. We may change, add or retire features and models as the project evolves.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including poker losses, or for disputes between players, including over home-game debts; and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose and US$50.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using WrapGTO whenever you like, and delete your account from the account menu. Deleting it removes your email, name, picture, trainer stats, chat messages and settings and signs you out everywhere. Hands you played in home games stay in the other players' histories and ledgers, shown as “Deleted player”, so their numbers still add up.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we ever close a paid account without such a reason, we'll refund the unused part of the current billing period.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service grows; the current version always lives at wrapgto.com/terms. For material changes we'll give notice in the app or by email before they take effect, and continuing to use WrapGTO after that means you accept them.

12. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the U.S. state in which WrapGTO's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; this doesn't take away any protection the law where you live gives you. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
